INAUGURATION OF THE REHABILITATION OF THE WINCH FROM ABOVE THE WELL IN THE VILLAGE OF CABEZAS del PASTO

The Herrerias Association was heavily involved in the recovery and restoration of the Well Master Winch from the mine in the village of Cabezas del Pasto.
The work began in 2009 with the signing of a document between the municipalities of Huelva and Puebla de Guzmán to transfer the remains of the winch from Huelva to Puebla de Guzmán for restoration.
The town of Puebla de Guzmán funded the costs of restoring the Winch, and this work was led by the president of the Herrerias Association, Jose Suarez. On March 19, 2011, an inauguration ceremony was held to celebrate of the reestablishment of the completely restored Winch in the village of Minas de Herrerias in the presence of the Delegate of the Ministry of Culture, Juan José Oña.
