The Herrerias Association, through its president, participated in the presentation of the facsimile reprint of the book-"Physical description, geological and mining in the province of Huelva" written by mining engineer, D. Joaquin Gonzalo y Tarin. The first edition was published between 1886 and1888.
The event was held on June 20th, 2012, at Columbus House in Huelva and was organized by the Professional Associations of Southern Mining Engineers and the Mining Engineers of Huelva, Seville, Cádiz, Badajoz, Cáceres and Canary Islands . José Suárez made a "Glossery on the life and work of D. Joaquin Gonzalo y Tarin".
